Nourish Pet Tea
$18.50
Nourish Pet Tea has been created as a long-term support for gut health and to ultimately help heal the gut. Gut symptoms do not need to be severe for gastrointestinal health to be a major player in what’s going on in the overall picture. There may be other major issues that are more pertinent—such as ongoing skin problems or even autoimmune disease. However, fixing gut health is often the first step to getting these other issues under control.
The herbs selected in this tea blend have been shown to help with cramping, abdominal pain, flatulence, and bloating. These herbs have anti-inflammatory properties, are soothing and healing to the gut lining, and offer a wide range of additional benefits to the gastrointestinal system such as calming, reducing spasms, helping with diarrhoea, moistening, antioxidant activity, antimicrobial effects, anticarcinogenic properties, detoxifying effects, and biofilm-busting action.
Importantly, many of the herbs in this blend also support and balance the nervous system, making this tea a powerful ally for pets dealing with anxiety, stress-related gut issues, or overall nervous system dysregulation. A healthy gut–brain connection is crucial for whole-body wellness, and this tea helps restore that balance gently over time.
This tea can be used for long-term support in cases where the gut is implicated as a part of other ongoing health issues. An example of this is in skin disorders or immune disorders, as the skin, immune system, and gut are all intimately linked. Dr Nat prescribes this tea to support pet patients when the gut has been compromised by both acute toxic insult or through chronic poor nutrition, leading to issues such as poor skin and coat health. It is also a useful tool when detoxing is needed. Pets are exposed to many chemicals, and detoxing is often an important step to rectifying chronic health concerns.
During episodes of diarrhoea, fasting your dog with 50% diluted bone broth and gut-healing tea can be beneficial. It gives the gut lining a break from digestion, aids hydration, and supports healing. (Ensure any bone broth for pets contains no garlic, onion, or added salt. Remove solid fats and always dilute at least 50%.)
If your pet appears unwell, if diarrhoea is severe, or if it continues for more than a few episodes, please consult with your veterinarian.
