My Story
I’ve wanted to be a vet ever since I was young. I’ve always had a close connection with animals and with hard work and determination I achieved my dream. However, I soon became disheartened with the industry. There really didn’t seem to be much in the way of solution to the actual cause of chronic conditions such as skin, gut and immune disorders and even other more serious disease’s like epilepsy and cancer. As far as nutrition goes the veterinary industry also seemed pretty backwards.
Vets are the only professionals that recommend their patients eat a processed diet.
This lead me down a path of investigation and I discovered another passion of mine; natural medicine! I could see there was a huge gap in this industry when it comes to health. The only answers for chronic conditions were long term medication which ultimately makes the patient sicker and doesn’t address the cause of the disease.
There’s a real need for some other products to support animals when they are suffering from chronic conditions (particularly skin, gut and immune-related issues). As it turns out a more holistic approach with natural medicine and good nutrition can relieve and even cure some of these issues without the dire side effects long term medication often has.
I’ve been passionate about this for some time, watching these animals suffer, feeling the frustration of both owners and other vets with no great solutions. This has finally led me to create some of my own healthy pet products to help fill this gap in the veterinary industry. These products are particularly designed to support the gut, immune system and skin as well as other areas. They help relieve symptoms and suffering of pets with chronic conditions, restore balance and even prevent these issues from occurring in the first place. The immune system and the gastrointestinal tract play a major role in a body’s overall health. By supporting these with the best nutrients, probiotics and nutrition we can expect our pets to live longer healthier lives.
It’s been so rewarding to rework the approach to treating animals to frame it from a “health” point of view. I want my patients to be as healthy as they can be. I want them to thrive not just survive. The cause of almost all chronic diseases is inflammation. So by preventing inflammation in the first place or addressing the cause and root problem of a disease we can better support pets, alleviate their symptoms, restore balance and allow their bodies to heal. Best of all I am now seeing incredible results and I can truly say I love my job.
